**Derrick McPhearson and McIntosh Nicolas failed to qualify at Florida for the Fall of 2004. McPhearson attended Fork Union Military Academy (Va.) and after the firing of Ron Zook that year, he elected to follow him to Illinois, where he enrolled in 2005. Nicolas attended the College of the Sequoias, and elected to pursue the pro football route through the CFL after his stint there.
